Rumours suggesting Dell has put a team to work in designing a new PMP might be unfounded, however all those busy worker bees have, it seems been put to work on another project.
According to Gizmodo, Dell is looking to take on iTunes, with software from a company called Zing, which it recently bought.
Business Week are also keen to get in on the story saying that "Dell has 120 engineers completing an iTunes competitor".
And, in a more that could make Apple crumble, the platform is to be shared so that it will be compaitible with lots of services and devices.
Apparently we should all look out for the Zing software on low-priced notebooks as early as September, and there will be more devices to follow.
But, as Gizmodo asks, will the software be available for any other PCs, which do not have a Dell logo on them?
