We have it from Digital Daily and Mac Rumours that Apple is now worth more money than Google.

According to the online reports, Apple's "market capitalisation at $159.37 billion is now worth more than Google's which is at $157.56 billion".

Apple's fit went beyond the $100 billion mark in May 2007, and it seems, economic slowdown or no, it made a fair enough of cash since then.

And just so you can see how Apple compares with other tech giants, the lovely team over at MacDailyNews has compiled a list of the market values of other notable companies:

- Microsoft - $255,648,204,000
- IBM - $169,964,678,000
- Apple - $157,012,662,240
- Google - $156,392,862,560
- Cisco - $142,125,692,160

- Research In Motion - $71,143,935,000
